Make your LinkedIn profile reflect your best business self.

1. While your LinkedIn profile certainly reflects your company as a representative of their brand, it also directly reflects your own personal brand. Utilize that resource and develop your personal brand to give followers a consistent and knowledgeable experience in their interactions with you.

2. LinkedIn is still a social media platform, so don’t use it only for advertising. You will alienate your audience, instead of building those much-needed connections.

3. Learn the ins and outs of LinkedIn’s settings. Don’t be the person who accidentally makes a mistake on their profile and then has an email notification sent out to your entire contact list. Watch tutorials, read up on tips, and understand how to make your profile and settings match what you need out of the site.
